Joe Brazil has owned the shop for 15 years. He worked part time with the previous owner Marcos and took over operations in 2001, the shop then called Alfas & Subarus. Since taking over Joe has overseen many changes at Sacramento Specialty Automotive. He is always seeking improvement within his business and takes pride in how the shop has grown. Joe grew up racing anything and everything including dirt bikes. He went to Encina High School where he met his wife of 32 years, Carrie. Together they have two sons and two wonderful granddaughters. Joe enjoys riding his Harley especially when travelling.
Tanner Brazil is one of two sons to Joe and Carrie Brazil. From a young age Tanner had a knack for all things mechanical so it seemed like fate that his dad went into the Auto Repair business. Tanner began working at the shop as a lube technician 10 years ago when he was a teenager. After years of working on cars he took the next step in his career with Sacramento Specialty and moved to the office to take over Service Advising. In his time as our Service advisor Tanner has formed great relationships with our customers. In his free time he enjoys extreme sports like snowboarding and riding motorcycles as well as spending time with his wife and two beautiful daughters.
Carrisa Friedman has been Sacramento Specialty Automotive’s Office Manager for 3 years. She has worked in customer service for almost 10 years and contributes to the friendly atmosphere of the shop. Carrisa enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with family and friends. She does her best to go above and beyond for customers and employees alike, working hard to maintain a welcoming shop.
Alex Seminario grew up with Tanner and has been an honorary family member since elementary school. He and Tanner played soccer together throughout their childhood and into their teenage years. Alex has two brothers. He and his family are proud supporters of Autism Speaks, participating in the yearly Autism Speaks Walk. This foundation is close to his heart as his younger brother Chris has Autism. Alex is a team player whose bright personality adds to the positive atmosphere at Sacramento Specialty Automotive.
Jason Flores was hired in February of 2016. With 11 years of experience working on multiple vehicle types, he has added great value to the team at Sacramento Specialty. Jason graduated from Del Campo High School and has been happily married for two years. He enjoys classic cars, both working on them and driving them, and owns a 1968 Mustang that he works on in his spare time. Among his interests are cooking and making people laugh, which he does quite often here at the shop.
John Barnes is our newest Technician but he is far from new to the industry. John has been working on cars for over 30 years working his way up to the level of Master Technician in the last 10 years. With his experience and positive attitude, he has made a great addition the team. John is married and has four children and is the proud grandpa to four little ones. He grew up is Sacramento and graduated from Del Campo High School. He has owned a 1968 Barracuda since high school and recently passed it down to his eldest son, keeping the long loved car in the family. John is a part time musician along with working at Sacramento Specialty so he keeps busy doing what he loves!
